Following the success of EMK25, we are pleased to announce the E‑Machines Colloquium 2026 (EMK26). Stay informed about current developments and challenges in electrical machine engineering, engage in in‑depth technical discussions with colleagues from industry and research, and benefit from valuable insights for your future work.
EMK26 offers you:
- Presentations and information on analytical and numerical calculation methods for all aspects of electromagnetic design, machine design, prediction of operating behaviour, interactions between electrical machines and the grid or converter, potential failure mechanisms and mitigation measures,
- interesting industrial applications and challenges related to electrical machines,
- contributions on innovations in machine design, materials, components and manufacturing processes, including application areas,
- the opportunity to meet other users and experts and to share your suggestions for the further development of calculation methods for electrical drives.

Organisation
The event is organised by Leibniz University Hannover (LUH‑IAL), which handles all administrative matters related to EMK26. After registration, you will receive an invoice from LUH for:
- the participation fee of €365 plus VAT per attendee
Presenters are exempt from the participation fee. If your employer covers the event costs, please clarify in advance whether a purchase order number is required for invoicing. If so, please provide it during online registration to ensure smooth processing.
